Keith Hanlon has recorded and released electronic, ambient and post-rock music for more than twenty years.

He toured the US and Canada as drummer and multi-instrumentalist with The Black Swans (Misra) and with Parker Paul (Jagjaguwar). At the same time he began releasing experimental electronic music, first as Zapruder Red and then under his own name, moving toward ambient, drone and post-rock.

Records like An Eternity Of This and Pockets, a set of live solo performances on tape loops, guitar and synthesizer, appear on his own imprint, Scioto Records. His latest, Music for Airport Workers, was released in 2026 on Cyclical Dreams.

Keith is a producer and engineer at Secret Studio in Columbus, Ohio, and teaches as an adjunct professor at Ohio University.
